Accessibility

Accessibilty :

Zone of Asia is committed to making our website accessible to everyone. We aim to follow recognised accessibility standards so that people of all abilities can access our content. Our goal is to ensure that all readers, regardless of their device, location, or personal needs, can comfortably navigate and understand our content. We believe accessibility is an ongoing responsibility, and we are dedicated to enhancing the experience for every visitor.

What we do :

We design pages and content to meet widely accepted accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 principles) and follow good practice for structure, headings, alt text, keyboard navigation and readable content.

We provide meaningful alternative text for images where practical, captions or transcripts for audio/video when available, and clear readable layouts with logical heading order.

We test key pages regularly with automated tools and manual checks and work to fix issues we find.

Known limitations :

Some third-party content (embedded widgets, certain ad scripts or older plugins) may not meet our accessibility standards. We try to choose accessible providers and improve or replace components that cause problems.

Older archived pages or user-submitted content might not fully meet current standards; we prioritise fixing high-traffic and critical pages first.

How you can control your experience :

Use standard browser features (zoom, text-size, high-contrast mode) and assistive technologies (screen readers) — our site respects these tools.

If you use a screen reader or keyboard only, most navigation and article pages are reachable via keyboard and follow semantic HTML structure.

If you have trouble :

If you find a page on Zone of Asia that is difficult to use or you need content in a different format, please contact us and we’ll help. Tell us:

· The web address (URL) of the page.

· The problem you had (what happened).

· Your preferred format (e.g., plain text, accessible PDF, audio).

· Your contact details (so we can reply)

We aim to respond within 3 business days and will make reasonable efforts to provide the content or workaround you need.

Ongoing work & standards :

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines across new and updated pages.

We perform periodic accessibility audits and user testing and update our practices when needed.

Where legal requirements differ by country or region, we apply the relevant rules and best practice.

Feedback and complaints :

We welcome feedback on how to improve accessibility. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate to our editorial lead:
